Sky Walker is a halfbred stallion who covers a lot of ground, featuring an ideal three-part division of the body into forehand, barrel and hindquarters. He features a large-framed shaping and is provided with a significant shaping of the pelvis and croup. His gaits are correct on a straight line and maintain the rhythm in any phase.
Apart from the athletic type and the versatile talents his level-headed attitude, the good walk and his first-rate pedigree are particularly worth mentioning.
Sky Walker's sire is the Russian thoroughbred elite stallion Beg xx, who was performance-tested in advanced show jumping.
On the dam's line this successful combination of performance blood was complemented with the eventing hero Habicht in an ideal way.
The granddam Shynoon was class winner and reserve champion of the 3rd Federal Show for Trakehner Broodmares in Verden in 1989. Shynoon won the mare performance test at Klosterhof Medingen and is the dam of the stallion Sabary, who was approved in 1996 and received the highest score for jumping.
The dam Serenade was class winner, overall winner and part of the Hesse champion family at the mare show in the breeding district of Hesse in 1998. She also did an excellent mare performance test and is one of the top broodmares in Hörstein.
Serenade is also the dam of Sky Dancer, Sky Walker's full brother, who became premium stallion at the 1997 approval and has been successful at show jumping up to advanced level.
In 2002 Serenade was awarded the title elite mare.
