Livery horses
Success and the welfare of the horse have always been our main priorities. Our extensive and well-equipped stud offers a magnificent home not only to our own horses - livery horses are welcome as well. Be it broodmares, riding horses, youngsters or oldies - at Gestüt Hörstein they will find everything they could wish for: a balanced and individual diet, reliable veterinary care and enough room to move about whilst being well looked after.
Our well-coordinated team will make sure that your horse won't lack anything!
Our service for breeders
- proven service by an experienced team
- daily turning out to paddocks for all horses (broodmares as well)
- careful stable management: 2x daily mucking out and roughage, 3x daily concentrated feed (up to 5x on request)
- double boxes, loose houses without extra charging (subject to availability)
- retired horses on summer pastures resp. in open barns in winter (individual feeding)
- qualified rearing of colts and fillies on large, healthy pastures, appropriate keeping in loose houses in groups in winter, individual feeding and daily turn out included
- careful starting and individual gentle schooling of young horses
- full or part-time training (to comply with your personal schedule), assistance in sales matters
- veterinary surgeon on premises
