Grand Prix was a slightly severe sportsman, who featured an exemplary reliability, strength of nerve and willingness. Those features he proved for many years, competing successfully with Ingrid Klimke in dressage and show jumping up to intermediate (M) level and in international eventing up to advanced level.

While his type was influenced by his sire Swazi xx he convinced with his toughness and the prominence of this athletic body.

Grand Prix featured an energetic motion sequence and a desired knee action.

Offspring

Offspring: Grand Prix †Grand Prix attracted attention through his offspring as well: at the Central Mare Registration in Hörstein in 2001, Sky Rock was awarded premium status. In 2003, Shannon Shadow was awarded premium status at the Central Mare Registration in Hörstein. Besides, she was made a state premium mare and selected for the Trakehner Show Jumper Programme.
